CytoRecovery recognized for one of Virginia's top internship programs
As one of the recipients of this year's Top Employers for Interns award, we couldn't be more proud of our efforts to provide quality internships to Virginia's budding professionals. Recognized by the State Council of Higher Education for Virginia, the Virginia Chamber of Commerce, and the Virginia Business Higher Education Council, we are deeply honored and humbled by this recognition.
We're not just an employer – we are a training ground, a mentor, and a launchpad for the careers of countless young professionals. Our interns are more than just temporary employees; they are part of our team, our future, and the future of Virginia's thriving economy. They bring fresh ideas, relentless drive, and unyielding passion to our organization.
This award is a testament to our commitment to our interns. We provide them with meaningful exposure to our senior leaders, who share their wisdom and industry insights. We also run a structured mentorship program, where experienced members of our team guide interns, fostering both personal and professional growth.
Moreover, our support extends beyond the office space. We acknowledge the importance of a healthy work-life balance and therefore provide housing allowances and paid time off. We also understand the value of industry certifications and the edge they provide in today's competitive job market. That's why we offer training for such certifications, alongside security clearances for relevant roles.
We are incredibly proud of the difference we're making in our interns' lives. The award ceremony held on Virginia Intern Day, July 27, 2023, not only affirmed our commitment but also reminded us of the impact we have on their career trajectories. We were delighted to be part of the video acknowledging the award winners and feel privileged to be part of such a distinguished group.
The Commonwealth Innovative Internship Fund and Program's support has been pivotal in enabling us to create these opportunities. We look forward to continuing our efforts in cultivating talent, and we can't wait to see what our future interns will achieve.
Governor Youngkin, Peter Blake, Barry DuVal, and Kirk Cox have each noted the significance of quality internships in strengthening Virginia's economy. We're thrilled to be part of this endeavor, and we will uphold our commitment to nurturing talent and contributing to Virginia's workforce.
To all our past, present, and future interns, thank you for making us better. We are proud to be your stepping-stone to success. To other Virginia employers, we extend the challenge: join us in investing in our future workforce.
